KOREA: 18 days to go

I can take a deep breath now that major stuff like budget, outfits itinerary are sorted out. On 2nd Nov weekend, we managed to go to JBR Sri Damansara after my husband's Science Show at Petrosains. I managed to buy 2 skirts (RM5 each), 4 muffles (RM5 each), shoes for Kasyif (RM80) and Lutfi (RM60) and 3 tops for Kasyif (RM30). Truly a bargain!

I've also added on 100kg baggage and in flight food. Recent weekend in Batu Pahat, BATA Warehouse were having a 'BUY 2 FREE 2' offer and I totally grabbed it. I bought shoes for Jasmin and Irdina and the free 2 pairs for myself. The shoes worth RM29 per pair so I paid RM58 for 4 pairs! Another excellent bargain!

Now, I need to start packing and figure out on food. Apparently Korea is very strict on their policies. They don't allow food with chicken or beef as ingredients. So no serunding daging, staple for Malay travelers. Well, I didn't bring serunding when we went for Japan trip but because Korea trip involve people like my mum and aunties, they may be reluctant to try korean food.

My food list include:

  • Maggi Kari/Asam Laksa
  • Maggi Goreng
  • Ikan Bilis Goreng
  • Sambal kering
  • Kicap
  • Biskut
  • Perencah nasi goreng
  • Perencah tom yam
  • Santan kotak
  • Rempah kari
  • Sardin
I'm kind of excited dressing up. Will write in another post....
