Baru harini berkesempatan menulis pasal KOREA (post holiday)....
Ni kira dah masuk 5 bulan selepas trip KOREA....best la walaupun kalo tengok video muka aku serious jek. Ya lah, aku yang kena come up with itinerary and have to ensure it suits everybody. And ini 1st time in large group, going overseas without engaging with full tour package. Definitely felt the pressure!
Naik AirAsia
We took Airasia flight to and fro, 18 of us travelling together (aku tertinggal Mi Band kat surau KLIA2. There goes nak count steps kat KOREA...sigh) Flight was good. I took my laptop with me and I got to write one post (but have not posted it yet here! Sigh)
You vs Them
Bila pergi reramai bermacam la perangai dan ragamnya and kena accept sometimes you can't do things your way. Contoh kalo aku je travel ngan anak-anak, aku tak pegi Everland because it's just a theme park. However, I'm glad we went (because my siblings wanted to) because it was one of the things that my kids appreciate most.
I didn't get to observe stuff and chilling out because itinerary was packed. But having a brother that likes to do videography, I'm fortunate. ada kenangan dalam bentuk video.
We laughed more and my kids had a jolly good time especially Lutfi because he got to play with his cousin, Aisy. Even now bila dengar dioghang nak pegi Jepun, Lutfi asyik tanya aku je whether kitoghang akan join digohang pegi Jepun. The thing is kitoghang dah pegi Jepun masa Lutfi umur 4 tahun (did kecik sangat so did tak ingat)
It was definitely 'the more the merrier' moment. Alhamdulillah, tiada apa-apa incident yang tidak diingini walaupun ada satu sebenarnya, makcik aku yg Pengarah Kastam hilang masa hari pertama (sib baik dia pandai balik sendiri)....
Photobook
And I get to finish up my photobook too during PKP. I used same layout as Japan trip and changed some bits. Love it!
Happy bila semua orang happy...
Logs to remind me the purpose of my existence. There's always, always something to be thankful for....

KOREA: OOTD
Tak nak spend banyak-banyak on baju sebab bukan selalu pakai pun...tapi memang dah travel in winter, nak tak nak...memang kena spend beli baju winter....
Bundle
Kebetulan ada Jalan Jalan Japan kat Centre Point Seremban. Sebelum confirm pegi Korea aku memang ada usha tapi tak tengok la baju winter, dok tengok beg and kasut kot-kot jumpa yang branded. Bila dah beli tiket bulan Jun, aku terus survey coat winter. Pergi beberapa trip jugak la, everytime visit Kakak mesti singgah. 1st thing aku cari winter coat dulu untuk anak-anak sebab aku punya tak jumpa. Dapat coat untuk kakak ngan Lutfi. Harga antara RM20-RM30 sahaja tapi design OK. Kakak dapat parka Uniqlo warna coklat. Pastu grab dua mafla harga RM1. Rugi tak amik banyak-banyak sebab tak terpikir nak belikan untuk mak ngan aunty. Until now tak jumpa dah bargain camtu....
Next trip, cari baju Lutfi pulak sebab banyak pilihan. Lutfi dapat Heattech inner, long sleeve T-Shirt ngan pullover. Range harga RM3-RM5. Aku pun jumpa la coat untuk aku. Tak beli yang parka sebab kaler terang benderang tak ada. Tapi jumpa wool coat yang aku rasa best sangat. Made from 100% wool and ringan. Dulu masa zaman belajar tak termampu nak beli wool coat. Aku confident coat tu boleh maintain haba. Harga pun RM20 saja, I just couldn't resist it! Aku pikir nanti kalo nak pakai parka, tukar-tukar la ngan anak dara aku.
Jasmin and Kasyif punya tak beli kat JJJ. Jasmin dapat purple parka, beli from my colleague (RM50 untuk 2 item!) while Kasyif punya paling mahal RM50 tapi dapat brand Kangol, beli kat Bundle Preloved Bukit Jalil lepas kenduri Mia 31 Aug aritu.
Pastu aku ada la beli cardigan kat Sasuke Bangi, 1 untuk aku (RM15) and 2 untuk mak (RM20 each).
Selalu pening kalo nak beli untuk Kasyif sebab badan dia besar. End up beli seluar dia kat Save & Save Preloved Outlet. Beli saiz dewasa pinggang 32 pastu antar potong. Ada offer amik 2 fleece checked shirt harga RM19 saja tapi dapat 1 jek sbb yang lain saiz terlalu besar untuk Kasyif. Then cari kat Samurai Seksyen 8. Kasyif dapat pullover ala design askar 1 (RM11.90), zipped fleece purple (RM17) and kelabu (RM25.20). Harga lepas tolak diskaun 10%-15%.
Last sekali bundle yang aku pegi is JBR Bundle kat Sri Damansara. Besar gila tempat dia. Nasib baik banyak menda dah beli. So aku fokus jek apa yang aku patut beli. Niat nak cari winter skirt and kasut for the kids. Dapat la 2 skirt (RM5 each), 4 muffles (RM5 each), kasut Kasyif (RM80) and Lutfi (RM60) plus 3 tops for Kasyif (RM30). Total RM180 sumenya yang aku rasa kalo beli baru mau harga cecah RM1,000. Truly a bargain!
OK ke baju bundle?
Balik rumah, baju-baju yang beli ni, aku celup-celup dalam air + softener bagi wangi sikit. Bila dah basuh, elok je nampak cam baru! Ahaks!
Aku rasa OK je beli bundle tapi kalo boleh belilah kat bundle yang properly gantung and simpan items dioghang kalo malas nak basuh, tak yah pegi bundle yang main letak atas lantai jek.
Bundle sekarang tak macam dulu. Condition memang tip top kalau bundle yang proper. Bundle sekarang pun from developed countries macam Japan and US. I guess depa banyak duit, baju pun pakai 2-3 kali pastu tukar baru. Brand pun memang dari sana so mestilah murah daripada beli brand dia kat sini. Material memang superior. Untuk winter clothes memang aku cari yang wool saja sebab baru la berbaloi beli bundle.
Ada orang geli pakai baju yang orang dah pakai. Aku OK ja sebab biasalah, macam kita pinjam baju orang...

KOREA: 18 days to go
I can take a deep breath now that major stuff like budget, outfits itinerary are sorted out. On 2nd Nov weekend, we managed to go to JBR Sri Damansara after my husband's Science Show at Petrosains. I managed to buy 2 skirts (RM5 each), 4 muffles (RM5 each), shoes for Kasyif (RM80) and Lutfi (RM60) and 3 tops for Kasyif (RM30). Truly a bargain!
I've also added on 100kg baggage and in flight food. Recent weekend in Batu Pahat, BATA Warehouse were having a 'BUY 2 FREE 2' offer and I totally grabbed it. I bought shoes for Jasmin and Irdina and the free 2 pairs for myself. The shoes worth RM29 per pair so I paid RM58 for 4 pairs! Another excellent bargain!
Now, I need to start packing and figure out on food. Apparently Korea is very strict on their policies. They don't allow food with chicken or beef as ingredients. So no serunding daging, staple for Malay travelers. Well, I didn't bring serunding when we went for Japan trip but because Korea trip involve people like my mum and aunties, they may be reluctant to try korean food.
My food list include:

Time for myself
So I didn't post anything in Sept ya. Many things happened since last post:
My weekends were full with other stuff, I didn't get to clean my house. Only today I got to take a look around and was overwhelmed with the mess. My husband has been away 3 times to Sarawak within a month. He has been busy giving talks.
Then I had to crack my head for upcoming KOREA trip 29 Nov - 6 Dec. Guess what, it's an excursion of 23 pax with age ranging from 65 to 1 year old! Had to work out the budget, itinerary and figuring out the logistics....for the group. Not to mention HM Family's budget! Ya Allah! Penin kepala.
Work wise, things were chaotic with changes in key management. So Sept-Oct was busy with that too.
Weight management was a yoyo. I've hit 68.0kg last 2 weeks but maintaining it was proved difficult. I have to improve my choice of food and portion. I'm not complaining though because I manage to wear my old clothes now. I need to calmly persevere and target fat loss because I believe the kg loss will follow suit. My target is to maintain 67kg when I'm on my way to Korea.
Coming soon: My eldest sits for SPM starting 5 Nov. Ya Allah! Dah besar dah anak aku ni! Aritu attend solat hajat kat sekolah dia before shoot balik Perlis for Deepavali break. It was a good session for all of us.
She had her batch dinner on Monday and I supported her all the way. We rent a dress for RM100, bought new pinky shawl and shoes. I lent her my accessories and suggested her to look for someone to do the makeup insead of doing it herself. My hubby was clueless and not able to join our girly conversation.
2019 has many history to remember....
- My brother got married 14 Sept
- My colleague quits and got married 22 Sept
- My 2nd kid sat for PT3 3-8 Oct
- My 3rd kid sat for UPKK same time as PT3

KOREA: are we going?
My siblings plan nak berjalan ke Korea tahun ni. Nak ikut!
Lama dah tak berjalan pegi oversea since Japan in 2015. Patut pegi tahu depan ek, cukup 5 tahun. Tapi kot-kot dapat pergi haji tahun depan! Aminnnn! Kebetulan tahun ni my daugthers sit for their big exams. Irdina with SPM and Jasmin with PT3...So the Korea trip could be a gift for them for staying the course.
The best part is kalo jadi, ni 1st trip keluarga pergi oversea! Sebab apa 'kalo jadi'? Sebab aku tak dapat beli tiket lagi sedangkan adik-adik aku selamat dah (Ila & Imi) ! Of course kita nak tiket paling murah kan. So aritu masa AirAsia buat Zero Fare sale, kitoghang sume masuk la....aku asalnya macam dah dapat tapi sebab hati masa tu berbelah bagi sebab belum ada full plan, budget. Ya ke tak ya ni? Cost belum kira, ada tak duit? Bila betul-betul nak beli, aku dah lupa camna nak grab tiket murah...aku siap pilih dulu makanan lah, seat la. Patut terus bayar sebelum website tu hang, sebelum orang dah ramai masuk. Originally aku dah boleh sampai 'proceed payment', tinggal masuk credit card number jek. Tapi sebab tak sure bagai, biar je dulu.... then bila nak betul-betul beli, dah takleh masuk sebab orang dah ramai masuk!
Ila and Imi lepas. Dioghang pilih tarikh 29hb Nov. Tiket balik belum beli sebab tgk harga tak murah. Ila target RM700 return sbb compare ngan kawan dia. So dioghang nak tunggu sale dalam bulan May.
Mula-mula aku rasa reluctant sebab pikirkan cost. Masa Air Asia sale tu, takda background research langsung, tak discuss adik-beradik. Tetiba nak beli tiket....memang agak 'terburu-buru' la...Sekarang aku pun dah baca-baca pasal KOREA so boleh imagine dah....baru rasa nak pegi. Tambah lagi bila imagine pergi ngan family, rasa cam seronok especially budak-budak ni main dengan cousins dioghang.
So doakan aku dimurahkan rezeki supaya dapat beli tiket murah demi nak bawak mak aku jalan-jalan! Aminnnn!
