Movement Control Order: Blessing in disguise

Malaysia is being hit with Covid 19 pandemic. Not only Malaysia but the whole world. Started from Wuhan, China I remembered Lutfi saying Coronavirus when we were in Perlis for Chinese New Year in January.

And today is the 5th day of Movement Control Order (MCO) I never knew this term until the government announced it on 16th Mar. I was excited at first because this would mean we would be working from home. Right after the announcement, my boss sent a Whatsapp message saying she wants to discuss about rotation during MCO tomorrow. Haiyaa!

I only got to calm down and plan how to go about this 'Work From Home' (FWH) thingy. The 1st 3 days, I actually didn't get much done. I was reading and googling on things that I've been wanting to do (such as learning how to do a survey report). I was on the edge worrying my boss would constantly contacting me asking about work. I just could not imagine how to juggle between doing what I want, attending to work as well as the kids. I noticed I was just sitting and only got up to eat, pee and pray. Not good for my weight management!

Luckily, I've been quite structured in my daily routine....I get up around 4.30 am to prepare breakfast and do ironing on alternate days. Then I'm off to send Kasyif to school and straight to work at 7.00 am. When I come home from work I usually prepare and cook dinner. So I figured out that I just need to continue doing that. Work is work, I still have to attend to it. So just continue the daily routine including the 9-5 work hours...except that you're doing the work at home...

I'm so thankful to Allah SWT for letting me to experience this WFH. I will write separately how I feel about this Work From Home arrangement.

In the meantime, let me continue my work face down in front of my broken TV.... I love WFH!
