New & revamp baju kurungs

To prepare for the upcoming kenduri of my cousins in February, I sent an old seldom worn orange baju kurung for a revamp:

Also, I sent yellow kain to Pesona Tailor to make a baju kurung moden and kebaya to match with old bottom.

Also shortlisted:

Purple 'songket' kurung because it has matching heels & bag_need suitable tudung

New kurung which I find a bit tricky to find matching tudung. Bag & shoes shouldn't be a problem:

Blue/white kebaya with matching shoes/bag/tudung

Patterned jubah with matching hoodie/bag/shoes. This will be worn on 14th, majlis akad nikah @ Masjid Shah Alam

Laksa and bihun sup are staple diet in the North of Malaysia. Not to forget cendol. The taste was ok, nothing out of the ordinary but the place and setting really put you in eating mood and make the food taste great! Amazing isn't it.....

Set in nipah plantation, the place is good when you feel like lazing around until the sun sets in. A must go! Google for Ladang Nipah Kipli to get the location and open until 7pm.

Spectacular!

I started 2014 with 'Spectacular', a nationwide event for Herbalife distributors in Malaysia. Held on 10-12 January at The Mines Convention Centre, I personally think this is a good way to start my activities in 2014 because it was full with motivational talks and inspirations. I also loves this year's tagline "Aspire & Achieve, Build It Better"....

I came alone when everyone came in groups. I didn't really care because my objective when attending the event was to gain experience and hopefully the experience will benefit my goal in joining Herbalife.

I hardly remember when was the last time I joined a large crowd. I was worried about toilet traffic, cleanliness, unable to get seats and ignorance but the crowd was actually pleasant. Except it definitely benefit you if you come in groups because they would 'reserve' seats for their members (although 'reserving' was not allowed by the organizer). I had to wait until the events started to search for empty seats and I was rather lucky to meet a lovely lady, Fiza from Bandar Tun Razak who was so kind to get acquainted with me and let me sat with her.

I made friends with 2 ladies, Fiza and K Shidah from Cyberjaya. I will do my best to stay in touch!

Luckily the shopping mall is nearby, so I was not bored although I went there alone. It was a good break I must say.....

What I've gained from the experience:

Go out of my comfort zone
Just be yourself and be nice to others. Just ask....
Learn, inspire and motivate yourself. No one is going to do that for you
Learnt about healthy diets from Dr. Medina

Have I gained my 'why' from the event?
Sort of. I know I have to be consistent to get to the next level that is World Team

How to advance to World Team?

10,000 Total Volume Points in 1 month OR
500 Royalty Points in 1 month
