Collagen drink

Totally impressed! Especially Kinohimitsu. My skin is puffed up thus lightening my laugh line. My face seems to have a better shape and fairer. I bought for RM139 with free 4 bottles. It says 30 day supply, that is if you drink as per instruction; everyday for the 1st 10 bottles and every other day for the next 10 bottles.

Then I bought Cosway Collagen Drink just to try. I've been thinking to take this for the long term so I need the product to be affordable. Cosway gives 3 pack for the price of 2, that is RM196 for 30 bottles.

I drink Cosway 1 bottle every other day. My skin stay puffed up which I can't tell whether it's due to Kinohimitsu or Cosway (because previously I drank Kinohimitsu). Which means Cosway is also as good as Kinohimitsu but somehow or rather, i think Kinohimitsu might be superior. I might be bias as I tried Kinohimitsu first and immediately saw the effect.

Kinohimitsu vs Cosway Collagen Drink cost per bottle
Kinohimitsu Collagen Diamond 5300mg RM139/ (16+4) bottles = RM6.95 per bottle

Cosway Collagen Plus Liquid Drink RM196/30 bottles = RM6.53 per bottle

So in terms of price per bottle, it doesn't differ much. However for 30 bottles, the difference is RM12.60 and provided that you get the 4 free bottles. Kinohimitsu can get up to RM8.69 per bottle if there's no offer.

Whichever way, personally I would buy either but because I hardly go to outlet such as Guardian and Watsons, I just get my collagen stock from Cosway. Plus I get 6 coupons with the purchase...

Mandarin Oriental and ICC 2016

Actually my husband was given a 6 day stay at Mandarin Oriental as he was the organizing committee for ICC 2016 Kuala Lumpur from 23-27 May. Unfortunately, it was not during school holiday. After given a thought, we decided to let the children to be absent on Friday as this kind of opportunity does not knock on you twice. So my children and I joined my husband on Thursday night so we get to stay for 2 days 2 nights.

When I say 'opportunity', I mean 'when we'll ever get to stay in a RM800 per night hotel, for free... if not now?' Previously I was not that impressed and my thought was "Ah! It's just another hotel.." until my husband showed me the view from his room! I didn't know tMO is that close to KLCC Twin Tower!!!! Totally impressed now!!!!

Not only that, my husband was also given the MO Club access. I never knew the exclusivity of being a hotel club member until today. They have separate lounge that serves food which mean you don't have to join the buffet downstairs. Food may not be as extensive but the lounge is more private and looks so elegant and classy. I'm totally into their decor, silver/grey combined with lilac/purple..(drooling!!!) And club members always get rooms with the best views which usually at the highest level.

My husband was given a complimentary laundry/pressing service for 5 garments everyday. He even sent his underwear to utilize the privilege! I brought my batik long blouse along to utilize the service too (I've been wanting to sent it for dry clean but could find the time to).

Towels were abundant, duvet was light but warm and I finally have found the kind of bed frame that I want. And the view was definitely priceless.....

Alhamdulillah dengan rezeki ini Ya Allah! Engkau hiburkan hatiku dengan nikmat ini.... Thank you Allah!

It was a good break although it was just Kuala Lumpur. We went to places like the park and the playground all by foot as MO was just next to Suria KLCC. My boys played in the bathtub 3 times a day. We also went to the Convention Centre to greet and meet the people my husband has been working i.e the important people behind ICC 2016. They came from the US, Australia and France.... good exposure for the kids.

I'm totally proud and happy for my husband. He has done a good job apparently as praised by his international peers. Hey, but once you're at home you're still the father to my kids ok. Please put your foot back to the ground..... Hahah!

My attempt at bentos

Sempena program J1FK, aku berusaha lah buat 'bento' ke office. Sebenarnya sebelum ni memang aku selalu bawak bekal pergi opis sebelum ni tapi orang dok sebut 'bento, bento...'... lagi glamer kot. Hahaha! Aku suka bawak bekal sebab kalori lebih terkawal...muahaha!

Buat masa ni pakai jek bekas yang ada. Tak berapa suka sebab ada telinga and besar sikit. Ganggu shape beg 'mesra alam' yang aku selalu bawak botol air 3.5ltr tu. Nak cari bekas lain tapi tak sempat lagi.

Some bad news headline for 2016

I've reached my band maximum salary and I 've already lose out 1% every month starting this year.
I felt like I'm trapped thus quickly updated my resume and applied for 1 job on JobStreet. Ya Allah! Permudahkan rezeki ku Ya Allah! Jika itu yang terbaik untuk ku....

Sekarang memang rasa malas nak kerja dah... No motivation. Rasa menyampah nak gi office. I feel like people pitying me or even worse, laughing at me.... 'She still not a manager yet? How old is she? Owh... it's OK. She seems happy with what she has, she never complains...."  Argghhhh! I think it's time for me to make a move!!!!!!

My application to reduce my study loan was rejected because I didn't achieve their minimum requirement of 2.2 (total blame on me). I will have to live with this for the rest of life. Alhamdulillah, by appreciating what I have, I have accepted my wrongdoings in the past. Human made mistakes and I feel so grateful that Allah SWT has made my path crossed with my source of strength.... my other half. Thank You Allah!

OPL changed to J1FK

It's been so long that I've forgotten what OPL is! Gosh! And it is with great sadness to inform that I have abandoned the OPL project and replacing it with J1FK! :-)  Still a weight loss programme but this is at divisional level!
The idea came from them... It was on 3rd May where we hold a 'makan-makan' event for babies whose birthdays in March till June. While eating everyone what saying 'I gemuk lah'....'Camne ni'....'Asyik makan jek kita ni'...then people started to challenge one another to get thin by Raya in July.

The initiation
We discussed leisurely and came this suggestion to do a weight loss program for the division. People started to throw ideas from the duration, penalties, prizes, how and who and everyone seemed excited about it (even me!)... But as usual, no one volunteered to initiate it. I just didn't want to volunteer anymore, enough done last year with the division team building programme. I just kept quiet but I was biting my lips. This is such a brilliant idea and exciting, no one has done it at divisional level! More importantly, I've always wanted to help people to care about their health and somehow deep inside I think this is a good way to start.... I just couldn't let this good and 'healthy' ideas to waste.....ended up I threw myself (again) to lead this initiative.

My 'why' did I volunteered
I'm not being proud, I'm just being responsible.
I know my friends in OPL want to lose weight but it was hard for them. Being just the 3 of us, it was quite hard to get the motivation going. This programme which would involve more people with the same objective may help each other out in the motivation department. Being in groups is better than trying to lose weight alone. So that was how the J1FK programme was born and J1FK means

JOM 1 FINANCE KURUS!!!

The J1FK programme
It's a 6 weeks programme. Starts on 18th May and ends on 29 June, just before we leave for Hari Raya holiday. People are divided into groups and they are suppose to help each other out. Prizes given to group and individuals with most weight loss percentage. There'll be a weekly weigh in, just to review and monitor the changes they've made in terms of calorie intake and provide motivation whenever they are down.

So far so good. We've done Week 1 and we're into Week 2. Most people seemed to follow any advice given and lost some weight in Week 1. I've lost 1.3kg too! However, I'm worried the progress in Week 2 might not be as good as people tend to wear off after Week 1.... Hope they'll stick to their goal....

My target on average, the total weight loss is 10% for the whole division. I shall keep them motivated, and give advice the best I can to help them to change their eating habit and lifestyle......

Average total week loss per week
Total participants is 23 and 5 with normal BMI (thus I don't expect them to lose weight). Total kg is 1,706kg and 10% of that total weight is 170kg. Thus weekly loss as a division should be 170/6 = 28kg per week.

Average total loss per person per week
Average per pax to lose is 170/23 = 7kg per pax within 6 weeks. This is on average, each participant should lose about 1.2kg per week.

So far, total loss in Week 1 is 24kg, 4kg behind average. Bearing in mind that weight loss may not be as fast after Week 2, I have a lot to do to keep the motivation going!!!!

OPL_Progress Week 2

Week 2
25 Apr -1 May 2016

I had my period on 29th so I blame water retention and bloating as the cause why my weight remained at 70kg. I've been mindful about my intake but that alone was not enough to get the scale down to 69kg in the afternoon. Add to that was short 'balik kampung' trip which if I was not being mindful would shoot the kg to 72kg! I ate Nando's (although it was grilled 1/4 chicken, it was an 'eat out') on Friday before the kampung trip, I went to a kenduri on Saturday and later ate @ Sharin Low at 9.30pm. I didn't do Tabata as planned.

And today I ate burger at Puffy Buffy for lunch and had 'nasi minyak' at 4pm! While tomorrow I'll be attending a training with free lunch. Arggghhhh!

Despite of failing to reach 69kg, I should applause myself because I brought along fruits as snack for our road trip. I brought green apples and pear and surprisingly my kids and husband had them too.
